Last week I posted everything I bought for Little MK’s Mix and Match back to school wardrobe (see post here). Today I’m sharing pictures on how to style all the items I purchased. There are so many ways to style these pieces!
Mix and Match Flat lays
I am in love with this cute reptile t-shirt. I adore the extra detail in the pocket. Here it is styled 4 different ways but there are so many more options!
Here is a simple colored striped t-shirt styled 6 different ways. Notice how having multiple bottoms and completer pieces adds to your outfit options.
This sweatshirt is one of my favorite pieces we got Little MK! First of all, one of Mr. MK’s childhood hero’s was a close family friend who flew F-14’s for the Navy. He once flew the jet so fast and so hard that he melted the rivets in the paneling. So we think it’s pretty cool that the sweatshirt has an F-14 on it. Secondly, on the back side (which unfortunately you can’t see in the pictures) there are facts about the F-14, which makes this sweatshirt extra cool in my book. Here are some mix and match options with this sweatshirt.
This sweatshirt is great for the transition to fall because it is lightweight. Again, I’m a sucker for the pocket detail. I think it adds a little more interest to the shirt.
Outfits with Completer Pieces
I also created a gallery so you can see the impact of completer pieces…just in case I haven’t talked to you enough about those (haha!). This cardigan and the gray vest are my favorite pieces for two reasons. One, they are both neutral so they are super easy to layer with anything. Two, because they add extra warmth for Little MK. Here are some ideas.
These are some of the many options you have when you create a mix and match wardrobe. I had so much fun creating outfits with the pieces! Are you ready for back to school?
