We have had a big year in our house! A lot happened in 2019. On the more personal side, both Mr. MK and I started new jobs. That was a big adjustment for our family, learning what our new routine would be. Plus, since Little MK started 1st grade it seems he is in more and more activities. But we feel very grateful for the opportunities 2019 gave us.
On the business front, the blog got a whole overhaul in design with the intent of making it more user-friendly for you all to use. We purchased the Glowforge opening up a whole new level of possibilities for us on the business front. This took me down a path I hadn’t even envisioned when I got the Glowforge – making jewelry. Plus, there have been so many other projects along the way. So without further ado, here is a recap of our year.
2019 MK Projects – A Year in Review
We tackled a pretty big variety of projects in 2019. Below is a recap of the various things we have created.
2019 House Project Recap
On the home front we have been working on a lot of projects. So much so, that we have quite a few still up in the air to be finished. New windows were installed. We painted the outside of the house and started tackling the landscape. Our biggest full-room transformation was our fireplace room (see below). You can also check out this post to see more information on our house remodel.
2019 Glowforge Projects
We took the plunge and purchased the Glowforge in September and we are loving it!! We have barely scratched the surface and have so many more plans to put the Glowforge to work. Here is some of what we have done in 2019.
Other Handmade Items
We made tons of other projects that didn’t require the Glowforge. You can see some of the below.
Up-Next
Our goal for 2020 is to continue to explore the Glowforge’s capabilities. We are really excited with the direction it has taken us so far! With that, we hope to expand our products on the shop page of the website.
